Life and Career

De La Garza was born on December 28, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. She is a half-sister to actresses/singers Demi Lovato and Dallas Lovato. Her acting resumé has been rather limited thus far, with De La Garza breaking into the acting business in 2008 with the role of Juanita Solis on Desperate Housewives. In 2009, she was featured in an episode of the Disney Channel series Sonny with a Chance, portraying the role of a younger Sonny Munroe, the series' title character.

• Young actress Kaili Say was originally cast in the role of Juanita Solis, and was shown in the 4th season finale, which marked the character's introduction. However, for season 5, the role was recast, with De La Garza taking over it.
