Mary Alice's blender is one of the many objects seen in Desperate Housewives, of any importance.

Martha Huber borrowed the blender from Mary Alice months before her suicide. Martha used returning the blender as an excuse to visit Mary Alice, to investigate the "Strange Popping noise" that she heard.

Ironically it was the object that Paul Young used to knock Martha unconcious, before strangling, and burying her alive.
