One day, after giving away the Scavo dog, the Scavo family wanted a new pet so they went to the pet store and adopted goldfish. The goldfish lived in a tank somewhere in the Scavo's house. The father of the Scavo house, Tom Scavo is not that fond of goldfish however. ("Never Judge a Lady by Her Lover")

Season 6Edit

Tom Scavo mentions to people that they use to have a pet dog, but their eldest daughter Penny was allergic to its fur so they had to give it up and get fish. Tom mentions that he doesn't like fish because all they do is swim, eat, and die, and then you replace the deceased. ("Never Judge a Lady by Her Lover")
