Benson's been seen in many television shows. One of her roles was as Joanne Hertz, the segment producer for the character Piper Halliwell at her restaurant Quake, in the series Charmed.

Benson was born in New York City, the daughter of Scottish photographer Harry Benson. She married actor Michael Landes in October 2000. They have 2 children together.
